Christy and Hilda’s Last Dance

After a night out, two women were dumped outside hospitals by masked men. Were the men good Samaritans or did they play a role in the women’s deaths? “48 Hours” contributor Jonathan Vigliotti reports.

CASE UPDATE: On Feb. 4, 2025, David Pearce was found guilty of first-degree murder in the deaths of Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales. Jurors also found Pearce guilty of seven counts of sexual assault for prior charges. The case against Brandt Osborn was declared a mistrial by the judge after jurors were deadlocked on a verdict.
